VRAM is an acronym for Video RAM. This is a term commonly used in computers to describe RAM dedicated to the purpose of displaying bitmap graphics on graphics hardware. Video RAM is usually physically separated from the main RAM of a computer. Sometimes this does not happen with some systems where VRAM is shared with system RAM.
