DRAM Memory

DRAM is a type of direct access RAM that stores each bit of data in a capacitor. The number of electrons stored in the capacitor determines whether the bit is considered 1 or 0. Since there is a leakage of electrons from the capacitor, the information ends up being lost, unless the load is updated periodically.
